about virus alert

Latest update: the issue mentioned below should be very rare now, since the Microsoft AI has become smarter.

===========

In April 2024, some users experienced some js files being deleted by Windows Defender, making Archive.html unable to display videos. MyfaveTT has existed for 3 years, this never happened before.

The intercepted "virus" all have names ending with "!ml", which stands for "machine learning", meaning the firewall AI thinks it looks like a virus, even though it doesn't match any existing virus signature. We can only hope the Microsoft AI gets smarter soon.

For now, the solution is to add your target folder into whitelist. To do so, search "Virus & threat protection" in start menu, then follow the steps to add your folder to whitelist. (Win11 and Win10 may be slightly different)

After it's done, on the next run of the myfaveTT, the deleted files will regenerate, and Archive.html will be fixed.
